Who understands the mind of God?

Sometime ago I mentioned some dear friends of mine on here and now, 22 months later, God has made the very decision that had me confused. God has decided that she who was healthy her entire life should join him, while he who was born sick should live on.

I am not even sure how to respond, I just know that I have a funeral to attend very shortly.
